Bio

Tami Kerby is the Nursing Manager at Georgia Recovery Campus. Hailing from Franklin County, Georgia, Tami's journey into the world of healthcare is marked by a remarkable commitment to serving others and a diverse range of experiences.

After graduating from Franklin County High School, Tami answered the call to duty and enlisted in the United States Army. During her time in the military, she had the opportunity to be stationed in both Germany and Colorado, proudly serving her country with dedication and honor.

Upon completing her service in the Army, Tami transitioned into the role of an EMT for Dawson County in northern Georgia. Her compassion and quick thinking earned her the prestigious Pediatric Lifesaving Award, a testament to her life-saving skills and dedication to the well-being of others.

In pursuit of her passion for healthcare, Tami pursued a nursing degree, which she obtained in 2001. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in various specialties, including Cardiac, NICU, and ER nursing. Additionally, Tami has lent her expertise as a school nurse, making a positive impact on the well-being of students.

For the past 9 years, Tami has wholeheartedly embraced her calling in addiction recovery. She has found profound fulfillment in helping patients navigate their path to recovery, providing support and care that makes a difference in their lives.

Family plays a significant role in Tami's life, as she is the proud mother of a son who is embarking on his journey to college this year. In her leisure time, Tami indulges her love for travel, particularly seeking out the warmth of an endless summer on beaches around the world. Her enjoyment extends to spending quality moments with loved ones, savoring live music performances, and relishing the delights of great seafood.

Her genuine commitment to patient care and her ability to connect with individuals on their recovery journey contribute immensely to our mission of helping those in need.
