Our treatments are built on a foundation of proven techniques and comprehensive clinical research. Specifically, the Georgia Recovery Campus offers three clinical tracks: cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and the trauma track. Additionally, we offer an array of experiential modalities that supplement clinical therapies as well as group and individual sessions. These include massage therapy, mindfulness groups, and more. 

When a patient is admitted, we carefully review their history of substance abuse, any known mental health disorders, any pertinent family history, past trauma, and other factors that may be contributing to their addiction. Fully understanding a patient’s unique circumstances allows us to better develop a custom treatment plan that comprehensively heals their mind, body, and spirit. Our dual diagnosis treatments work to address addiction and its underlying causes, including mental health conditions.

Our Holistic Approach to Addiction Recovery

• Medical Detoxification for Safe Recovery When a patient first arrives, we evaluate the type of substance they have become dependent on, their history with that substance, and any known medical conditions that could affect or exacerbate withdrawal symptoms. Our cutting-edge, standalone medical detox unit is equipped to provide IV fluids and gives new patients the space they need to safely get off drugs in a controlled environment. Patients will receive around-the-clock care and have access to emotional support from our experienced, compassionate team when requested. Medications will be used to relieve withdrawal symptoms, and patients will be fully monitored throughout detox, meaning we are prepared to treat any addiction emergencies that may develop. The length of the detoxification process can vary based on the severity of the patient’s addiction, the type of substance being used, and other factors.
• Tailored Inpatient Treatment for Long-Term Success. Once detoxification is complete, we will work closely with the patient to craft a tailored treatment plan that gets to the heart of the elements driving their addiction. This may involve using one of our three clinical tracks along with adjunct therapies and recreational activities. Patients will remain on our picturesque campus throughout treatment and have consistent access to our team of friendly, supportive clinicians. Friends and family are welcome to visit at specified times and days. Like detoxification, the length of treatment will vary depending on the circumstances and needs of each patient. We make it our mission to facilitate long-term recoveries and are prepared to devote as much time and as many resources to each patient as necessary. 
• Supportive Transition and Aftercare for Lasting Recovery. After a patient has received the treatment and training needed to manage their mental health and stay sober, they will begin to reenter the outside world. To help facilitate a smooth transition, we offer aftercare services that connect patients with support groups and community resources. We also help develop plans that incorporate health, home, purpose, and other fundamentals that help patients avoid relapse post-discharge.
